Discussed many times previously...
Don't pay retail, go the Ebay or Tischer route. The windscreen is the same for the regular 3 series and the M. I got mine for the equivalent of $150 shipped off the German E-bay site to my home in Germany. It does reduce buffeting and noise in the vehicle and my wife likes it a lot. Some may debate the looks with it in place, but it is functional. I would not use when doing much over 100MPH, though.

Ha ha ha ha, is this question for real!?!?!?
From the replies you've already received, I guess you mean Wind Deflector. Without a Windscreen, you're face would be covered in flies I know, I'm English, so you probably use different words for Windscreen over the ocean... |

Once you get the hang of it, you can install and remove in seconds. It does use the 4 "holes" in the rear seat area of the car.
It will fold up into the bag it comes with and will fit in the truck with the roof down. I got mine at a great price, but probably would do it again at a higher price. With the windscreen / wind deflector and the side windows up on the highway, 80MPH is a lot less dramatic.

from my experience, the deflector is great when it's a little chilly out (i drive topless as much as i can - way less air movement inside the cabin = more "comfortable" ride) or if you dont want to get your hair messy (for the ladies)...
if i'm by myself on a hot day (25+ C), i'll store it in the trunk, lower both windows, hammer the throttle and enjoy what top-down driving is all about !! |

Having watched every episode of Top Gear, I can relate that one would typically gaze through the windscreen to view the bonnet, yet look over the windscreen to see the boot. This would not be possible in an estate or saloon version of a car. Either way, seeing a lorry rapidly approaching whilst enjoying either view would be simply be tragic.

I have it on a CLK, totally worth it.
pros: very easy to install and remove, requires no space to store. you dont have to worry about closing it when closing the top because it fits perfectly as the roof comes on top of it. cons: when you use it, your car becames a 2 seater, you can still put bags on the seats but people cant sit.

I have it in my '11 vert...love it its 100% functional, and I personally think it looks great when in place. Its a breeze (no pun intended) to remove it and stash in trunk if you need to have people sit in back. I'd personally get the OEM BMW one......at least you know it'll fit perfectly, whether in place, or in the trunk when folded

Yes, and now even more expensive. I was quoted $500.00.
Have seen it on EBay for as low as $412 + shipping. But it is worth the money. M3Cabrio Monte Carlo Blue |
