I just use the finishing spray. I thought the paint cleanser strips off the paint sealant (I think that's what it says in the instructions), which you would then have to reapply the sealant before using the finishing spray.

Yes it will remove the sealant and clear the spot as well but then you can reapply the sealant and finishing just in that spot if you want, the sealant is supposed to be applied only every 6 months or so to prepare the paint surface for the finishing but you can still apply the finishing without the sealant and it wont change the matte finishing

So, just had a service done at my local BMW dealer and now my paint's all shiny! I asked them if they have put any waxes or polishes but they said they didn't. They specifically said to the team not to steam it or use any polishes just a cold wash which they did. So I'm wondering when they dried it they used some sort of cloth that has buffed the surface? Because when you're in the car the bulge in the bonnet is unbelievably shiny.
Only 10 of these ever made so pretty pissed that it's came out like this.. Still goes link stink tho |
