Looks like I have been working harder, not smarter, all of these years. In my experience, none of those wheel cleaning agents worked better than a sponge and dish soap (...and no, I didn't wash my car with dish soap; I know better ).

P21S is magical. Hands down the best product I've ever used. Just read the reviews on http://www.detailedimage.com/.

You guys are lucky you have a place to wash your cars. Living in an apt in LA, not only do I not get to wash my own car, I'm lucky if moronic neighbors don't smash their bags and groceries and shit into my car as they walk by it.

My old office building used to have a sweet hand wash in the garage that was 15 bucks. Now I have to go to a hand wash on Melrose every week to keep the car clean. Costly but time effective. They never get my 359m's as clean as I would but such is life. I kind of finally became less anal about my car.

If you were going to change colors, I'd go with gunmetal, but that's just IMO. Plus it would look amazing with your white car.

Cleaned my wheels for the first time in 1.5 months last week . Forgot how good silver ZCP's look!

Black ZCPs FTW, I have'nt handwashed them a single time in 2 years and they still look brand new after I pass a quick brush while pressure washing them!!

I learned my lesson about silver BBS wheels a couple years ago with my RS2s on my A4, nice when clean but PITA to wash so now I always get black unless it's an easy one to wash like the 5 spokes on my Allroad!

I think i'm going to powder-coat my ZCPs gunmetal next year. Silver is too bright/dirty, black is too dark IMO.

I used this track wax stuff that cleans/waxes every surface. It works better than the Armor All tire spray, but still only lasts so long before you have to clean it off then re-apply.

Looks like I have to order this Opticoat from the UK? I'm down to try it out. Looks pretty hard core. I wonder has anyone used it for their paint or other parts of the car? Headlights, glass?
