Since buying my 2008 M3 Silverstone (Oct, 2016) I haven't been pulled over once even though I tend to be more heavy footed than I was in the Camaro.
Yup. I was pulled over 4 times on one drive from TX to CA in a red corvette, even though I had the cruise control pegged at the speed limit! Thankfully no tickets, but WTF cops?

Loves the 85mph speed limits here in Tx. Theoretically, I can do 15 over (100mph) and even if I get a ticket, I can still take defensive driving and get that dismissed

Lol of course, every now and then, on an open and empty road... You have to open it up! Just dont do it next to a cop lol.

Last speeding ticket I received was in 2002. I was in my 1999 black 911 cruising south on I85 in Atlanta. The Georgia State Trooper pulled me over for doing 93 in a 65. I knew I was speeding, of course. I was calm, polite, and respectful. He ended up writing the ticket for 78 in a 65, which would avoid putting points on my license. Of course, he did offer admiration for the car, which probably helped. No tickets (yet) in the M3, but I do drive like a defensive granny most of the time...until I don't...

I get away with 100 in short spurts all the time on the highway going to Boise. I always keep my cruise set to 86, plenty of curvy paved back roads, you can see for tens of miles and see nothing. My county, and our neighbor county are larger than my home state of Maryland and Delaware combined with a total population of around 36,000 people, plenty of road to open her up on.

Try going to the track. You can go as fast as you want there, and if you run out of talent at 120 you won't hit a minivan with a family inside.

Gotten 1
How many of you have received speeding tickets in your M?
See above
What speed were you going at and what was the limit when you got the ticket?
Doing 60 in a 30
How long before you received your first ticket from when you bought the car?
It was... about 6-8 months after I got the car
officers comment about you car?
Didn't say anything. Mentioned he was doing 60 trying to catch up. I was doing closer to 70.
Finally what do you do to evade the cops? Waze, radar etc?
Radar detector. Escort 9500ix. I always check my surroundings before doing anything bad.

I got my first and only one, 3 months after I got my M3. I was 16, and went to overtake a F350 with a huge horse trailer in a 80KMH (50mph) zone (the guy was going 40mph). Anyways his truck and trailer was the size of an 18 wheeler. So I dropped it to the third and took off, and the moment I hit the rev limiter in 3rd which was 160KMH, I let off the throttle to go 90KMH. The moment I started lay off the throttle, the cop got me at 155kmh...

I tried to explain, that there is zero cars on the road except for me and the trailer but he wouldn't understand...

However after 6 years of ownership, I've had zero tickets since my first one.

I was like, "Listen, you fine pieces of tail need to put on some clothes."

Luckily, I ALWAYS travel with a trunk full of ///M related merchandise (and, hookers! Can't forget the hookers LOL). From visors to ///M branded coffee mugs, you name it. I always write in sharpie "E92 with a V8!!!" Just so posers know.

Anyway, I took them home and showed them all of my ///M posters.

It was exhilarating.
Hilarious!

...and I'm sure that you always have at least a kilo of uncut coke in the trunk, along with your M3 swag, just in case the ladies want to "powder their noses" before they show you what friendly girls they are.

In NJ doing 120.... License will be cut in half and then you will be cuffed and stuffed. This happened to a friend of mine doing 110 on route 78. Also, I would send that cop a Christmas ham now!!!
