I don't think so, flux capacitor was not a standard option. It really feels planted to the ground when you sit in it.

Scrub question, but what is the benefit of running a squared set-up?

(I honestly don't even know what it means, but I suppose it's running with four tires that have the same dimensions)

Furthermore, do M3s come stock with a squared set-up?

well there are a few reasons:
1. you can rotate your tires (better wear)
2. for me I want a square setup for the track

The m3 does not come with a square setup, like the 135i and 335i it is staggered.

im not lowered, i know it needs it, been resistant to this point though and think it looks okay anyway. i got the square set for the track but liked it enough that i use them year round. like the handling charecter and the look with the front being soo much more concave like the rear looks great.

I basically want to know more about a square setup... Still a noob on this stuff.

So basically you have to get a 4 rims of the same size lets say 19x10 et22 and 4 tires of the same size lets say 275/30/19 front and rear.

Is there any other benefits besides enabling you to rotate your tires? What does a square setup have an advantage on a staggered setup in the track?

Chime away guys! Thanks in advance.

IMO the e90 looks a lot better with a square set up than the e92. The e92 looks better with the staggered look. Just my 0.02 cents.

from the factory all new cars come with some understeer dialed into the car for the genreal public who are poor drivers. if they lose the front end in a turn it is much easier to correct then a wild oversteer situation which results in panic and hitting curbs and other cars! going with a square set up is an attempt to dial out some of that understeer bias and make the car handle more neutral which is more ideal for advanced drivers and track use.

Here's mine.

19x10 BMW M3 GTS Wheels all around.

265-35-19 Front
275-35-19 Rear

Fronts are going to be switched to either 275/30/19 or 285/30/19

Rear wheels are going to be widened to 11 or 11.5 inch and fitted with 295/30/19 or 305/30/19.

Enjoy. No rubbing, no problem, just a ton of front end grip and a bit of oversteer.

I was under the impression a square set up had same tires and wheels front and back. Wouldn't rotate fronts to back and have smaller tire out back so kinda pointless?
