Ugh. I hate people sometimes. No sense of personal responsibility or respect for other people's property. As our entitlement culture gets more ingrained, expect more of this. Tall Poppy Syndrome

Someone once gave my M3 a dirty look.
But seriously, I don't park all alone in the back corner of the parking lot like many here say they do. I've always felt that just draws too much attention to my car and that's when bad shit intentionally happens to it. |

This thread reaffirms why I use valets whenever I can. Before people post valet horror stories, I give the valet $20 to leave it in the front and I typically take the key. |

Hey buddy i know how you feel. I went to the movie theater 3 weeks ago. My car was all clean waxed polished looking great. When i come out some asshole took a large soda and threw it at my car. I come out to see coke all over my windshield, hood and door. Not to mention when they threw it the edge of the cup scuffed my hood smh. I was so angry

Either:
The previous owner not treating the leather well enough and letting his passenger(s) screw up the side bolster. Or: All the damn sand and gravel trucks that lay down millions of tiny projectiles for others to kick up at my car on my way to work every day.

Someone keyed my car in my parking garage in NYC where I live. The garage did end up paying for it and now keeps it close to where the guys sit in the office. I just don't see how people can do crap like that and not even feel ashamed of themselves.

Our toys are our rewards for our hard work. We don't go around chipping the rust off of others' cars. Why F with ours? I avoid parking next to cars that like they are owned but people who don't care. Those rust buckets have nothing to lose and all the paint in the world to gain.

Don't pay $2,000 for a camera. Look up Finevue and Blackvue. They cost around $300 if I remember correctly.

All I have to say is bad Karma. I leave my car anywhere I need to be; airports, downtown Philly (or south side), NYC, anywhere. Never a scratch. My cars are DDs, no garage queens. 67k miles on my e46, 50k on my first e90 M3 and 75k on my second e90 M3. My second M3 has spent the last two years outside, never in the garage. One time a guy in a Chevy truck had the wind take his door into my current car leaving a giant door ding. He left a note and apologized. I told him no sweat and covered it myself. Good Karma.
