I currently have a sunroof and I've seen an e90that I believe IND installed a carbon roof on...

Do you guys know how much it'll cost to replace my sunroof with a carbon roof? And what shops in so cal can do it?

If you want to save the weight and make the car lighter, get the cf roof. If you want it just for the looks, get the carbon sheet. My buddy got carbon sheet on his e90 335i and it looks great! $350.

i too looked at it and with the cost associate with it, i am better off selling the car and getting a newer car with it. So anyway, i am just taking it easy for now. Have put too much money in mods that I will probably never see. :-(

I think it's only 10-20 pounds from a sunroof to carbon roof. But the cost is also 10-20 times more than a carbon vinyl wrap. Haha.

I think it's closer to 40 - glass, hardware, motor.

Weight savings CF roof Vs steel sunroof is 45.

Weight savings CF roof vs steel roof without sunroof is 11 lbs. (This is not made however).

CF-ers save a nice chunk without the skyview =]
