Buying two at once?
Ok here goes. I have a 2002 325 that I have been waiting to trade in since I saw the e90. Looking at a 330 with SP and PP. Our Durango is about up on the lease and my wife says the other day she would like to look at either an X3 or an e90. My question is, have any of you purchased two vehicles at once from BMW and did you get a better deal than you would have opposed to just one? I'm just wondering what I might expect? I doubt this will be the case though, but who knows.

Volume does speak
I think you would be able to get a better deal on two. Go into the dealership thinking in terms of % discount from retail. Ask for say...2% off on one vehicle......when you get that ( and you should) then introduce the prospect of a second vehicle and a 3-3.5% discount if you obtain both.
I bet you get it. JIM |

From everything I know about the X3, all I have to say is, stay away from it
I probably wouldn't buy two first-year model cars at the same time but that is your decision. If it were me I'd buy one now, and buy another maybe at the end of the year after some of the kinks are worked out. Either way, enjoy your new E90(s)!

It'd be hard to get an X3 after seeing the e90, I tried but couldn't
The X3's nice and you can get a better deal than on a 3, but it's not as nice on the interior and the large sunroof is a concern to me for the long term |

The panorama moonroof on the X is the bomb....one of the coolest features...unique to the X3. I would think the utility of the cargo capacity would be nice....what if you found an old refrigerator on the side of the road....you couldn't take it home in the E90. I drove an X3 loaner for a week once and it was a blast....and it was the 2.5

Thanks for the info. I have the p.o.s. (Durango) lease until Sept. That's my wife's daily driver so I'm leaving the decision up to her as to what she wants, just eliminating the H2 and a few select others. I was rather shocked when she asked about another bimmer. My 325 is not a lease so I can do whatever, whenever. As far as two new of a new model year car that doesn't bother me, the company I work for did it with two new airplanes last year. After those headaches, a car is a piece of cake! Again, I appreciate the input!
