2010 e92 m3 with edc
Hi guys, I've have my E92 m3 2010 coming in the weekend, The car comes with EDC, I reckon the stock suspension is too high for this ride, does anyone know if I'm going to put on KW coilovers V3, Would I lose the EDC function? what if I just change the springs? Would the EDC be influence?
If i want to keep the EDC but want to lower the car, is it possible ? Thanks guys |

If you change to KW V3s, you'll lose the EDC. If you want to keep EDC, you could get some springs. Nice car

EDC is a mechanical function of the shocks not the springs. You can change the springs anytime to anything and you can keep EDC, the car will feel different, but you can still switch EDC settings. Anytime you change the shocks part, you lose EDC.
So a full coilover kit like the V3 will not have EDC. My suggestion is, unless you race your car and you require super stiff coilovers, I would not mess with coliovers and especially any lowering springs, they're mostly cosmetic and are not designed with opitmal performance in mind, unless the springs are custom made and could be set up for a specific application you need for the car. BTW, I'm going to Macau next week, should be fun, where can I find cheap tables? I'm talking about like $10 USD per hand games... |
