The V1 is still in the top group. The most sensitive is the Escort Redline when set up correctly. Especially in off-axis encounters. The V1 with the V1 connection option and configured correctly is just as good, but not for off-axis. It is better at detecting rear encounters though. The Beltronics STi-R+ is up near both of these and the new Escort Max is too. The Max has not lived up to the hype. But then, it was billed as the second coming of Jesus. It is in fact a huge leap in performance, but can't quite keep up with Escorts own Redline or the V1C.

Yes, the V1 is still up there. The Redline is the king in sensitivity, but only by a hair.
