How much worse is beer for you than vodka, tiquila, whiskey etc?

I was wondering if hard liquor is a solid way to drink without getting slammed with a gut? Obviously anything in huge amounts is going to affect you I was just wondering if beer was that much worse for someone who wants to stay fit.

Alcohol is basically liquid energy.

If you drink it and don't burn it off then it gets broken down into sugars and stored in your body as fat.

Hard liquor is PACKED with calories. But, I love it.

Typically 75-80 calories per shot. (1 ounce - 1.5 ounces)
