Plastic cover infront of your nav?

Hey guys,

Weird question but do you have a slanted protective plastic screen over your nav? My friend with a 328 and the new MMI has a screen protecting his actual nav screen, but my M3 does not.

Wondering if this is normal.

Thanks.

My old 335 did but my M3 does not. I prefer without, less glare

It’s not that I need a screen protector. I was just wanted to know because I didn't know what to say to my friend. I do not know anyone else who owns and M3, so I thought I’d post it here! So as long as it’s not supposed to have it then I’m happy!

Mine has it. Probably a difference between the old & new i-drive.

The latest screen design is without the plastic cover. I guess it's just another way of saving some money by BMW
