My Jerez Black has a few stone chips and minor scratches (despite my best efforts). This being an occupational hazard I anticipated going to my local paint shop and getting the bonnet (hood), front and rear bumpers re-sprayed. Then I saw a uk guy with a frozen black car. Looks nice. So I wondered about getting everything re-sprayed in this colour (rather than a vinyl wrap). Apart from the roof of course. Has anyone else attempted such a mod? Anything to beware of (I\'ve read the threads on looking after the frozen finish of course)? JB is good but it\'s a sod to keep it looking nice.

I would just do a wrap. Cheaper and easily reversible if you change your mind.

I would go with a wrap as well. It would be hard to find a buyer if you ever wanted to sell it. I also think it would deminish the value of the car if it wasn't the original color.
