Lowering effect of CF Splitters?

As title states, how much lower does the front CF splitters make your front bumpers? Interested, but already huge pain getting over bumps and into and out of garages, being that my car is lowered.

With splitters, it will be much worse since they tend to stick out a little.

I just recently put the OEM splitters on my E90 ZCP. I can say that I was worried about them clearing my garage entrance. Before installing them, the felt protecting the undercarriage under where splitters are, would rub as I entered and exited my garage.

After I installed the splitters I have about 1/2 inch of clearance from the furthest forward and lowest point of the splitter to the ground. With day to day driving I have never hit them against any driveway or speed bump... Just be carefully with those parking bumpers, they are deadly.

We have installed quite a few ZCP splitters on various client's cars, and many of our clients drive in Chicago with no issues. The ZCP splitters are positioned in such a way as to not have a major effect on ground clearance, unlike most full front lips.

Here is a photo that should give you an idea of the splitter's position relative to the bumper:

I too have recently installed the OEM splitters. Ground clearance is essentially not changed at all, as the design is more a shape change, rather than increasing the vertical depth of the bumper downwards.
