If you are going for ED delivery can you make the deal from any dealer in the country and have it delivered to you, or a to dealer near you for pick up?

Unfortunately you need to pick it up at the dealer you ordered the car from. The other alternative is to do PC delivery, which will allow you to order from anyone.

I asked for 500 over invoice and settles at 800. I was thrilled to not have to waste any time haggling.

My specs:
Alpine white, carbon leather trim
DCT
Moonroof
Sat radio
PDC
Ipod / USB
Smart phone
Premium package
Not sure of leather??
floor mats

Final price was $55,600 + gas guzzler + tax.
Shook the managers hand and signed the deal. Now the waiting!

We are planning a 6 week trip with our 2 small kids all over Europe - can't wait. Keeping my 05' mini cooper S for winters. Thanks for all the advice.
Mind if I ask which dealer this was? I'm planning ED for summer 2011; looking to get in the area of $500 over ED invoice.

I ordered my E90 for $400 over invoice for ED.

Hey JLac, I'm looking to place a 2011 M3 order in the next week. Stumbled across your killer deal on the thread. Would you mind sending me a PM with your South Bay CA's name/contact? Thanks man.

Honestly, I dont know why anoyne even bothers going anywhere else than to David Aviles and Kevin Mellett at Passport BMW. They give you a no haggle needed Invoice price that is BETTER than any other price you'll find out there. I know the dealers by me (South Florida) think M3's are more valuable than gold, so they think they're doing you a favor by giving you $1K off MSRP.

Great guys to work and deal with. I haven't purchased my E92 yet, but soon enough.!

Cost is dependent on distance. MD to TX is around $750.

Already got the quote, Auto Transport $500 from MD to S. FL.

I'm working with David also for an E90 M3... I agree, all S. FL dealers are horrible when it comes to negotiating a price on the M3, plus they like to charge $500 to $750 for dealer prep which they charge after negotiating the final price. I'll never buy another car from Braman again.

Can't you also get something called Courtesy Delivery, where the car is delivered to a local dealer. It costs about $500 as well I think. Not sure if they still do that.

And yes, Florida dealers ALL charge a ridiculous dealer fee anywhere from $500-$700. Pure bullshit!

$500 to ship from MD to SFL is not bad at all....!

Not true at all. However, the owner of the vehicle needs to match the person who picks up the car @ Welt, so under some circumstances it can be done.

When people say they are getting $xxx above ED invoice, it is because they are really doing ED!
