Rollcage colors?

In the winter months, I'll prepare my car for more track duty and remove the rear seats to get a rollcage (rear section only so far) installed.

Now I'm contemplating on color options. My car is black outside and inside. The Brembo brake calipers are yellow.

I wonder if getting a yellow rollcage would be nice to match the brakes. Or a black cage with yellow harnesses? A red cage might be a nice contrast. Decisions decisions...

What's your take? Maybe got some pics of nice raceprepped interiors to share?

I would go Red on the cage. I think that it would look good with your car being black.

Hi,

unfortunately the pics don't show up.

Both my track and summer wheels are standard metal "silver".

^^I have seen this car in person. The red def stands out looks awesome. I have also seen black and with black interior and black exterior it kind of blends in. I think the yellow or red are the way to go.

I would do yellow to match the brakes. Yellow harnesses would be too much IMO, even with a black cage.

Yellow brakes are sexy. Gotta match the brakes without a doubt... so Yellow. I will say I like red rollbars better but then you'd have to make the brakes red too, which may not be a bad idea either. Stick with black harnesses, the colored ones somehow always look overdone unless you are going all-track.

Red looks awesome! Maybe someone can photoshop it to see what it looks like in yellow? Black would probably blend in too much. After all it should stand out a bit

I'd go with Red. Personally I think a bright yellow (e.g., Brembo caliper yellow) might be too bright and distracting when using the rear-view mirror...

Red definitely looks best!! Just wondering if it will work out with the yellow brakes. Decisions decisions...

IMO, I think it would work out just fine. It's not like they are sitting close to one another...there's a lot of distance between the calipers and roll bar

Good luck with your decision - sounds like a fun decision to be faced with
