Hi friends!
So I'm new to this forum and I just want to say thank you all for making me feel at home. This is what I mean..
You see it all started about a year ago with my old car and when I used e46 fanatics where I would talk about doing donuts, burnouts, slides and stupid things that I like to do. Why not ? Right ? Well over on e46 fanatics everyone and I mean EVERYONE acted like doing anything other then driving was a sin. I mean they all acted like it was the worst thing in the world to do a burnout or go over 100 lol. Also it was full of sarcastic pricks who ALMOST NEVER HELPED with anything.. It's like I'd have a problem and I'd ask about it and 99% of replies were "your dumb" or something criticizing me.. Over here tho I see mostly everyone helping and less criticizing & talking like they actually do stupid things like I was talking about. MOSTLY Everyone is really respectful and helpful here too so I just wanted to say thanks for that! Happy motoring ! |

I thought he was going to say 'and you guys are 10X worse than the E46 guys'.
Best advice for a new user: there is a wealth of information on here, please utilize the search function to educate yourself before starting new threads. This is the best way to avoid the M3post members who used to be on e46fanatics and are still jerks Cheers and welcome!

Welcome to the M3 Forum ...
PS. I used to own a e46 ///M3 ... hopefully I was never seen as a "jerk" ... then come to think of it I never belonged to a BMW forum when I was driving my e46 coast to coast.

I think this is because most of the members of this forum are people much more mature than the other forum.
These are people who have more money and can afford a car 60-70k or used ( 35k and up) while an e46 m3 $ is now around $ 15-20k (I think), and so many young people can buy ir and do "evil" with it. Even if i dont drive an m3 yet i love to read that forum |

Thanks OP, but it's quickly swaying unfortunately.
Just ask any of the guys who've been on this forum from the early days, they'll tell you it's night and day from the level of help, advice, and mature conversation you would have received back then. Such is the nature of the growing second hand market and younger / immature demographic filling this place. |
