I have a similar older one. Usually too lazy to get it out but works ok. It really helps to keep car waxed well to help the water along. Sure can't go wrong at that price anyway!

I have one like it, it will work, especially around the mirrors and lights.

Ill let you know when i use it this weekend, first time using a leaf blower. Most of my neighbors always ask me for tips and ticks on how to wash/polish their cars so i don't think they'll look at me funny ahhaa.

I recently bought a CR Spotless filtration system. Just wash and let air dry. Will dry spot free as long as you get all the unfiltered water off. I have no need for a blower but was going to buy one before my new toy.

I use a blower on my car. I am by no means a detailer person and my car is far from showroom condition due to the track abuse. But I was taught from a very wise man in Kansas to use the blower. I have a standard leaf blow (electric) with 250 mph winds that I use. I have been asked my neighbors what the hell I am doing, find it quite funny.

The Toro I use is rated at 160mph and its plenty powerful.

Keep in mind how easily the water is shed off will depend on how much wax/sealant is on the car. I noticed when the car needs a wax it takes a bit longer to remove the water.

Exactly what Vic311 said above! Mine is overkill because I use it for other purposes as well. But since I have it, I use it for the car!

Which system did you buy? Just curious. I've been wanting one of these for a while. Water spots can be a pain to get out once they get stuck on the paint.

Been thinking about buying a CR Spotless or deinoizer from your link, I manage to rig my water soften for my house to have a outlet but never tried using that to wash my car, do you know if its the same thing as Crspotless?

This is the one I purchased.

http://www.costco.com/CR-SPOTLESS-De....11751987.html

I am on car wash number 10 now between my full size truck, mini van and BMW and the system is still filtering 100% of the water. I am keeping count to see how many car washes I get out of the system before I need to replace the resin.

At this point I am 100% satisfied as I just wash and let air dry. The time saved to me is worth the price of the system.
