Hey guys,

Gonna keep a running tally of pics and mods to the M3.

Shes a 2011 Alpine White on Fox Red (most original combo ever )
Mods in my garage:
-15/12 Schnell Spacers
-White reflectors
-Gloss Black performance grills
-Vorsteiner Rep Front Lip
-OSS Angel Eyes (to be installed next couple weeks)

Just picked it up today with my dad, who also happened to replace his Aston Martin Vantage with a new Lightning Silver DB-S. I have some pics, but that's all as I'm not letting him steal my THUNDER!!!!

So, when are you two gonna race? I bet you feel pretty good now despite the fact that your dad has the Astin. Now you just need to wait 1200 miles before you can really have fun with it. Does the DB-S have the same sort of break-in as the M3?

Haha, we'll race sometime, although it wont be much fun. I don't remember the exact specs but the DB-S has a 12cycl with over 500hp!! Yeah 1200 will be tough, I mean c'mon no full throttle even?! That's just plain mean.

To be honest I don't know the break-in for the Aston, I'll ask him though.

I know right. When the M3 is in pictures by itself it's stunning, but put it next to the Aston and it just looks plain awkward!! The M3 needs to be on a steep angle to look good next to it.

You are right, because now all I can do is be anal and keep the car in good shape while driving the hell out of it, not the easiest combo.

I have grad school finals tomorrow so I'm off this site for the night and I'm NOT looking out my window at the M3. Swear.

He asked me if I wanted to drive it home from the dealer (20min drive), I didn't say anything and just snatched the keys. I'm insured for all his cars (I'm 25) so it's only a matter of giving him a good reason why I need to use one

The shifts are SO much smoother than the Vantage V8 which was very notchy. The sound, while not as low of a burble as the V8, retains some of the throaty burble but has a much higher more exotic pitch. I'm in love.

Thats funny. I wouldve done the same to my dad. My friends uncle has an SLR mclaren, and he wont even let his daughter sit in it!!!!
