Which 18"rims would fit StopTech STR 380mm

Hi,

... find nothing in the search ... is there any 18"rim for the e90 M3 that fits the StopTech STR front kit with 380mm rotors?

Or would the original Styling 260 rims would fit these brakes?

I meen the STR kit not the normal ST BigBrake kits.

Thanks

Apex ARC-8 May Fit

You should PM paintpro21 or post your question on one of his threads: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401416. His Apex ARC-8 wheels clear pretty much all the 380 MM brakes but the Brembos. If you tell him what you have, he'll be able to tell you whether his wheels will work or not. He's very responsive to questions, and his wheels are a very good value.

The APEX wheel was designed to fit the Stoptech 380mm kit, but won't fit the Brembo 380 kit. The VOLK wheels will fit and the CCW wheels.

Leh Keen runs the the 18x10 @25P TR Motorsport wheels with the Stoptech 380's on his M3.I had them fitted on a huge AP Nascar setup that I was thinking of running and there was lots of clearance without a spacer where the Apex wheels would not fit without a spacer.

The only ones that we are really aware of that clear Brembo and Stoptech 380mm are the Volk TE37 and Volk G2.

Without spacers, the original Style 260 wheels will not clear your Big Brake setup.

Your best best is to check out the new Volk Racing wheels which were designed to clear big brake setups.

Thanks ... can you tell me what kind of spacer I need, if I would stay with the oem Style 260 wheels?

Do you have the wheels and are contemplating which brakes to buy...
Or do you have the brakes and contemplating which wheels to buy?

Possibly selling the Brembo kit on my car for this reason. Spending $3k+ on track wheels and needing extra sets really starts to become a PITA. The ST kit allows you to run plenty of 18" choices and the fact 18" Apex wheels are light, affordable, and a nice design really helps!

Yep the HRE fall-line track wheels will clear the 380mm kits. The only problem is they are big $$ for a track setup.

Exactly why I want to switch to ST

Buying a few sets of Apex wheels really helps the costs!

Sending you a PM Nate.

We've discussed this in another forum thread in detail already. The oversized Nascar caliper tested was on an E36 not an E90/92. The E36 pushes the entire rotor and caliper out significantly further then the E90/92. That test and result is irrelevant to this chassis.

Are they in stock?

Not sure if my 18" Advan RS wheels clear the 380mm ST kit, but I might be interested in selling them.

My CCW C14 also fits. ST and STR should share the same outline sizes.

I thought those CCW's would even clear the Brembo's?

And Martin, don't you already have the Fall Line wheels?
Why are you looking for cheaper wheels now? Did you get the bill from Champion???
