Cranking noises

I hve an e92 m3 with 32k miles and I\'m experiencing little noise when turning very very slowly generally on a colder start, kinda sounds like a cranking weird noise. Almost as if the rear break is engaged but it\'s not, then the noise goes away as I straighten the wheel or go faster. Only happens when I turn the car going left.

Im very paranoid about my car and idk if this is something serious or not so any feedback please let me know!

I don't know what you mean by "cranking noise" (having a hard time with that description), but I get a groan sometimes from the rear diff when turning slowly after a cold start. I think it's normal.

If your car always did this then there is an additive BMW can put in the diff to improve the situation. If you are sure that the noise is new then BMW needs to check it out.

I have a 2011 with zcp that started making a groaning noise from the rear about 1 month ago. Only does it when its cold while turning. Worse if there's an incline or decline like entering or exiting a parking lot. Mine has 3500 miles.

This. Nothing to worry about really. Well unless the sound comes back after they changed the differential oil.
