Order placed for a 991
Finally placed my order for a 2014 991s. I put down a deposit about 2 months ago. 2014 info came out yesterday so I finalized everything today. I had decided on ext color platinum silver. It ended up being discontinued for My2014 It was replaced with a color called Rhodium silver. I had to track down a pic of Rhodium because there were no pics anywhere. I ended up taking a chance and going with the new color Rhodium silver. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I think I'm more excited for the 991 than both of my M3's.
I ended up decided on keeping my M3 after the crappy trade in and also knowing I wouldn't want to daily drive the 991. I drove the m3 for the first time this winter and it was a tank. Just put my summers back on yesterday. Even though its still full winter here in windsor. I also have new rubber PSS 255 front 275 rear. They have been awesome so far even with the cold. My delivery is scheduled for July 21 dt porsche T.O. Can't wait My config

Congrats.
My C4S will arrive at the end of May. With some options, most pll will be spending around 155-160K on a GT3 IMO. So don't get bogged down on the list base price. My 991 is going to be my daily driver, my son will sit in the back, and I'll drive it in the winter as well. So the GT3 was not a viable option for me personally. Hopefully in the future though. Who did you deal with at DFC?? |

If you like listening to music other than your exhaust, I would highly recommend the Burmester sound system. The 991 cabin lends itself extremely well to the Burmester system. I have it in a 2013 Cayenne GTS and ordered that option after having heard it in a 991. Nice build though!

Congrats on the 991. I've had mine for close to a year now, and I love it more now than ever. The manual is just so direct and the clutch is weighted nicely. I'm sure you're going to love your car!
Also, i'd recommend you not bother with the spacers. You can get aftermarket 5mm spacers for half the price. |
