Distribution approved my build!!!
Got an email from Jack @ Edmonton BMW stating that distribution has checked over my configuration and said it is ok. It is as follows:
2009 E90 M3 Sedan Individual Moonstone Individual piano black trim with inlay Fox red extended High gloss shadow line Executive M Drive EDC 19" Wheels I currently have an 06' 330i that the lease is up on in summer 09'. I will be ordering the M3 in Feb for a May delivery (The individual order will incur a minimum of a 4 week delay for production). I am extremely excited to say the least. It's gonna be a long winter!!

That is going to be sweeeeeet!! Congrats!
And let me tell you the wait will be worth it. I just took delivery this week after an 8+ month wait from my initial deposit. It was worth every day!!

I want 6NF (smartphone integration) in my car too but Jack(sales manager) said he did not see it listed as an option in his system. I will see if he can confirm that it is not available before the order is placed in February. Although I would love to have it I will be able to live without it considering I am able to get an Individual car!!!!

You and me Both I am finding myself looking at mods already....... I am a recovering Mod addict and it has been almost 3 years since my last mod. I have had a few VW's that I modded but once I got my 330 I never modded anything since. I am big on OEM appearance so body mods will be few if any but I am thinking that I am going to go with Brembo Binders front and rear, full Hamman/Supersprint header back exhaust, software and I may lower it with the way overpriced Dinan spring setup (I believe in what he is saying about the bumpstops since I owned a few VW's that were lowered with the cut bumpstops and they certainly didn't ride very well) I intend to keep the car for quite a while hence the Individual colors and such so I will have a while to play with modding. Thanks for reading guys. |

I hope the color combo works as well as I think it will. It is hard ordering paint and trim that are sight unseen. I have a vision of it in my head and it looks good. Hopefully it will be as good or better then I imagined. The main thing for me going Individual is so that everyone doesn't have a car just like mine, I guess I want mine to truly be "Individual".

MSRP is $87500......... $91472 with freight, PDI, tire tax, etc........ $96045 with GST. These prices are full retail in Canadian Dollars. The GM of Edmonton BMW and I are pretty good friends so we will negotiate a discount when the order is placed in February.

That will be a very nice car. Just curious, why not individual leather also? Not available, or you just like the regular offerings better? I remember seeing pics of the individual dark red leather and it is just .

Sorry OT but the Dinan springs may be just their way of designing a lowered car that is as good as stock and that still has warranty. Maybe the shorter bumpstops add insurance to make sure there will be not long term failures and cost Dinan $$$.
I am pretty sure of the EDC fails in a H&R (only as an example) lowered car you are on your own. Whereas Dinan does waranty it. I'll ask him next week when he is in town. |
