Thoughts on an 08 E90?
Dealer has a 08 E90 that is being sold as new since it has never been titled. 570 miles on it. Dealer said that the car was one of the early 08 M3 arrivals (build date may have been in late 07) and has been used by the dealer as a demo car.
Specs are below A73 Jerez Black Metallic NDSW Black Novillo Extended Leather ZCW Cold Weather Package ZPP Premium Package ZTP Technology Package 2MT 19" Forged and polished Double Spoke wheels (St... 403 Moonroof 415 Power rear sunshade 417 Rear manual side window shades 507 Park Distance Control (rear only) 653 HD radio 655 Satellite radio with 1 year subscription 6FL iPod and USB adapter 752 Enhanced Premium Sound 999 LAUNCH SUPPLY Dealer is asking $58k. Appreciate any thoughts? Is this a good deal? Not sure whether I should go for this, or try to find a new 09 (assuming I can find one before 11/02 to take advantage of the .9% financing offer). Thanks in advance |

Its high, you can do better, and personally I wouldnt buy a new car with that many miles. I used to work at a dealer and know from personal experience that you cant trust people to be gentle on the car during break in period. Theyll never see that car again and they can be as rough as they feel. If I'm going to spend 60 - 70k on a new car, it better be MINT, no 600 miles B.S. Just my .02

I just read your other thread about the 09 M3. I say spend the extra dollar on the 2009 model for the following reasons:
1) 2009 is LCI. You will regret buying an 2008 model 2) THis is a demo. Do you think the salesmen really took care about "babying" and "breaking in the car correctly?" I am more concern with #2 because both you and I know that on a test drive a car salesmen redline and pushed that M3 to its max to SHOW OFF the car's full potential to their customers. As a result there is a lot of wear and tear on this engine. |
