Trade in the 2009 for a 2012?
I've had my 2009 e90 M3 since October of 2008 (3 years to the month). I am thinking about trading it in for a fully loaded 2012 e92. There is no way that I can wait until the new M3 / M4 models come out in a few years. I get an itch for a new car about every 3 years.
I have also test driven several other cars (2012 -Mercedes C63, Audi S5, Audi S4,and Cadillac CTS V) but they just didn't feel the same as driving the M3. I was able to get the 2012 for $1,000 under invoice from one of the dealers in the area. So my question is, do you think that it is silly to buy the same car twice? The only real difference is that I am going from the sedan to the coupe. Thanks! Last edited by tampabayboy; 10-19-2011 at 09:31 PM.. |

If you like the car, why not? If you want something new, then the C63 would be the only other option unless you want to jump up. I say go for it.

I wouldn't. Unless you are changing to a different transmission or a vert, it doesn't make any financial sense.
I say hang on to your car and maybe mod it a little to keep your interest. Otherwise you are just throwing money away for the depreciation hit you are taking. Furthermore, you have an E90--no more being made! Reason to cherish it more! |

What did you think of the 2012 C63? Was it the coupe or sedan? Was it just the Coupe that got the new interior remake or did the sedan? The coupe interior I saw in the dealership a couple weeks ago looked much nicer than C63's in year past.
