Question Sharing your stock verus modded dyno #s

you guys mind sharing your dyno sheets, my M3 is getting tuned here in Austin currently on a Dynojet 224, mods: cat delete, 2.5" custom exhaust, Dinan rear exhaust and Macht Schnell Intake system
my sheet wont download, but they are not done yet, we ran out of fuel, ECU is a Motec 150
currently making 372 wheel and 276 torque, will upload final sheet when done

i haven't "before" dino, cause we were swapped s65 and make all upgrades in one time, so only final results.

2 curves - on dyno day we have no lower cold air intake from bumper (1m bumper not compatible with oem m3 lower duct), so we made 2 dino runs, with airbox and without.

both figures on wheels.

E82 swapped s65 with dct

stock engine
free flow straight pipes exhaust (2x2.5")
ac delete
front damper delete
smaller bottom pulley (slon-workshop)
aluminum flywheel (slon-workshop)
egr delete
secondary air pump delete
and remap .

Search the M3 Dyno database. Has many hundreds in it. Don't have a link right now but easy to find with Google BMW Dyno database.

thanks guys, all the data seems very similar to the mods that I have and that is the reason for collecting some numbers, will check out that data base too

saw that thanks, so far 372 wheel and 276 torque is about where most cat delete S65's are, hoping for 380, but my E46 M3 weighs less than 3200 pounds..so power to weight is quite a bit better

That is pretty good for just a tune. With all the bolt ons, should be a 390-400 rwhp car.

referring to mine? I told Ninjaneering I would be happy with 380+, when you really start looking at dyno sheets, 370-390 is where intake, exhaust, cat delete and tune seem to fall in. I cant imagine a pulley get me another 9whp to get me into the 390 territory

Interesting how later years have a stronger baseline.
Factory software updates?

Yes, the latest software is the best and typically shows a gain on early cars. Look up 240e or 241e.

Does anyone have a 2013 baseline with 93 octane Shell VPower?

Have you checked the S65 dyno database? There's quite a few stock engines on 93 octane. They don't say Shell VPower however...just 93 octane.

Here's mine with test pipes, tune, Dinan intake and MPE:

A stock M3 made 330whp on the same dyno. 30whp from those mods is a healthy bump. Adding Dinan pulley next month and we'll see if that makes any difference Looks like my tune is running rich up top, I'm sure if that was leaned out it would make a bit more power.

+1 on Dinan underdrive.
