When your car is rolling side-by-side with another one and you guys race in a straight line from a certain speed to a certain point/speed. Like drag racing but while the car is moving basically.

Hah no there was braking involved, but I need new tires just after two sessions

My time was 1:36.955 and after doing some research it appears someone is a few tenth quicker than me, but I will have to verify.

I was browsing around yesterday and stumbled upon this thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=534577

Towards the end of of OP's original post there is a time table of what he got with 1M, M3 and X5M. Right now I realize that these are just his best times because I carefully read the pre-text. However last night, without paying much attention to any of the wording I figured that those were the track records... So today when I got my 1:36.955 I thought I broke the record. But when I got home I decided to double check before throwing it out there and it turns out that Steve Millen went faster at 1:36.92 (http://www.fastestlaps.com/tracks/willow_springs.html)

Anyway, sorry to Randall and others that I mislead. So far my times have been getting better every time that I go to Big Willow, so maybe after next time my name will be on that list instead of Steve Millen's

Heck, as far as I'm concerned, that's blazing fast, right up there at the record level.

It's fast for a complete stock M3. Good time.

That is pretty quick, but I was talking about stock M3 times.

I wish I could join you guys, but I don't think I will be able to save enough $ for new tires by then.

Haha!

I never had Hankooks, I had PS2's before the Nittos though. From what I can remember the PS2's were pretty damn good, but pretty damn expensive at the same time and the sidewall didn't last as long as on the NT05's. Over all I am happy with the Nitto NT05 and would recommend it.
