The E46 is still a classy car. As much as I love the E92, I still dearly miss my E46's.

Thanks signori Moderato. I like it too and that's why I'm keeping her despite the many aging issues. It's been over 10 years.

To answer your original question... yes, you can, if your popularity rises too much and in the wrong direction.
You mentioned talk about yourself... well, if you are the self flagellating type, and only say things about yourself that others can't possibly envy, you can get 64,000 posts and never get banned, no matter how abrasive or improper your jokes are.
But if you say good things about yourself, people will jump up and down and the boat will rock too much for conform, but you'll be blamed as the one rocking the boat.
