Wow, $163k USD will be the base price in Finland! I could buy a new E92 M3, new E60 M5 and a used E36 M3 for the same price
Anyway, enjoy the new car!

I gave rounded off numbers of: $60k for E92 M3, $90k for E60 M5 and $10-13k for an E36 M3. Works out for me.

You quote basically a stock M3 price and a semi-loaded M5 price. Doesn't jive...

My original point is that I could buy those 3 cars for a M3 in Finland which is still valid regardless of options. Furthermore, why are you arguing such semantics?

Congrats!!! I get my e92 335i M-Sport next week, so it's merry christmas for you and a happy new year for me!
btw my 335i:s price was 69 000euros (not many cool options i'm afraid ), the car is actually 1350 euros cheaper starting from 1.1.2008 (that is the day when the new finnish "F*"#k the cool cars" cartax kicks in.. more co2 emissions, more tax. ) I live in Tampere btw.. |

It's not semantics if the statement you made isn't accurate. Factual statements are good.
