A whatt?? ... maserati?!?

So yesterday a Maserati wanted to mess around at a stop sign... there were cars in front of me and he stopped for me and guess what...

DESTROYED. Just thought I would let you guys know the beast inside a BMW 335i

BTW I have a JBS1, so that probably contributed.

How do you like the JBS1? Have you been able to validate any HP increase?

Just like you wouldn't "race" your 335i with a +$40k car, I don't think anyone would "race" their +$200k car with a +$60k car.

Not to mentioned racing on public roads are not recommended.

Haha MANY do and i have done many cars. Me and my friend messed around with Micheal Jordan. lol. He is the only one here with a bugatti veyron. That thing is soooooooooooooooooooooooo fast.

Was it a Quattroporte? My friends father had one. He hated it and got rid of it after 6 months. Had a lot of trouble with the transmission.

they just updated the trans to a regular auto so I think that problem should be fixed.

the Quattraporte is the Maserati 4-door sedan. the Maserati coupe is being replaced by the Maserati Gran Turismo. My co-worker's no.10 on their waiting list here in Canada. It'll kick all our asses.

Kick our asses? I doubnt it... the reported 0-60 for that car (the new maserati coupe) is 5.2 0-60.... must be all that weight that even with 400hp it's not faster than that.

Maseratis are not that fast.

The Gran Tourismo 0-60mph is 5.2 secs.

The older ones are a bit slower.

I have gone up against a '06 Maserati coupe (my boss) and blew him away. He has placed an order for the new M3 btw.

The gran turismo is siiiiiick. I love my car, but I would take the maserati. I don't care if it isn't any faster. The fact that I could sell it and buy another 335i and an X5 and mod them til I'm on the cover of Bimmer is also a factor there though....

In that class though, I would buy an Aston Martin DBS. That's my dream car.

Maserati or 335 - definitely a Maserati anyday (if they solve their reliability issues).

Even though the car is slower - the experience and the smile it brings to your face is worth it.

maserati over 335 ANYDAY!! beautiful, soulful, fast. the exhaust note is just automotive genius. One of my neighbors has a coupe.......he rarely drives it but when he does it makes me smile...and i'm not the one driving it!!!

Keep in mind if it was a Quattroporte, that thing weighs in at 4375lbs, vs the 335's featherweight (in comparison) of 3571lbs. Neither of these cars are made for stop-light drags.

Drop that thing a few gears on the freeway, and the Maserati screams.
