I actually made it into some of the shots! Woot! Woot! They must have been near the start. That's the last time I pick new tracks to me! Thanks for turning out guys. I need to practice - I am just not used to driving with a front license plate. It really messed up the aero dynamics! (ahem, cough, cough)

That was fun guys. I too need to practice. Hadnt played the game for awhile and it got a little hairy out there. It felt more like lapping to me as after about the 2nd lap I felt like I was the only car on track (and I wasnt in first - lol).

Thanks for arranging LiM3y. Looking forward to trying it again.

That was fun. The last race at laguna seca was great. Some bumping but a good battle lap after lap, different drivers faster in different sections. On the Daytona race I switched to in car view on the last lap, and missed all my brake/ turn in points. Looks cools, but I can't drive in that view. Great fun!!

You mean you weren't driving with the dashboard view? Pussies! I missed all my braking points, apexes and track outs, but at least I felt clean!

Now did anyone have the line on?????

I drove with the lines on. Were we not supposed to? That may explain why I won. In the ring pics it looks like all I did was try to punt Vef. I do remember someone trying to use me as their brakes going into a corner. I'm up for more next week.

That might have been Juan Pablo Jaypod. I had to change my fender three times in the first 3 laps.

I am taking the lines off next week...and doing some practice!

It was good fun. vef149 = my first ever license plate

I didn't use the driving line. LiM3y can disable it for next time along with traction control.

5 laps seems a good race length.

Also add some penalties so that I am not tempted to cut corners to catch up with beast.

My setup is:

Controller: Shift with X and []. Accelerate R2 Brake L2. Steer left stick. Works pretty well. I haven't found a good setup for my steering wheel yet.

Plz tell me everybody was shifting on their own

You guys are doing this too late into the night. I'm an old man at 39!

I will try to hook up with you next time. So, what did you settle for specs? Sounds like people have modified cars? Why not just leave mods open? I am sure everyone has the money to buy whatever is available.

Cars are stock - LiM3y handles the track etc from his lounge.

True you are old, but an extra afternoon nap should allow you to stay up until midnight.

I have two years on ya... and you can buy paper bags to deal with beauty issues. At least you wont have a helmet to mess up your hair!

We ran stock M3 from the lounge garage with racing medium tires on. Some guys ran with stabilizers on their back wheels!

That's probably the best approach to keep things even.

Your suggestion has been filed with the competition committee. That's me and r53s65e90.
