2008 Alpine White 6MT E90 M3 - 27k Miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 37,500.00

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
I'm putting up for sale my 2008 6MT M3. Originally asking $38,950 but now price lowered to $37,500.

I recently bought this M3 and have decided to pursue the purchase of a newer model so the proceeds from this sale will go towards that endeavor.

As mentioned in the title, it has 27k miles and this total will increase slightly as it is my daily driver. Within the last two weeks I did the 30k service and had the oil, diff fluid, and spark plugs replaced along with a software upgrade to the newest version the dealership had.

In the short time I've owned it, I have only made some minor cosmetic upgrades including the following:

- LUX H8 v3 HIDs
- IND Matte Black Front Gills
- IND AW Color Painted M3 Side Markers

Other than these changes, the car is bone stock and runs perfectly.

Exterior: Alpine White
Interior: Silver Leather

Other Options (that I can think of, feel free to ask specifics) -

Heated Seats
iPod USB Connector (in armrest)
Bluetooth
PDC
EDC
Moonroof

VIN: WBSVA93558E216092

Thanks for looking and please feel free to let me know if there are any questions or comments!

GLWTS ... Just wondering would you not benefit from a overall tax issue if you trade the car in?

To sweeten the deal I will throw in a brand new in box, never opened, LCI tail light kit to the buyer of the car (value $500-$600).

Wow, lowering price AND adding mods. Nice!

But to be clear, you'll still need the LCI trunk, correct?

That is correct. Since the car has the pre-LCI trunk from the factory, the buyer would need to buy a nice LCI equipped aftermarket trunk and get the LCI kit installed at the same time. I had planned on keeping the car and doing just that until I decided to just order a new M3 this week.

Speaking of which, I got a very reasonable trade-in quote from the dealership so if I don't sell this privately before my new E92 arrives then I'll just trade it in. So if anyone wants this, you've got until my new car arrives

Yep, you would still need a bootlid. Nice perk though

OP: Love the car, interesting color combo that seems fairly uncommon, esp with the aluminum trim. Only aspect that I dislike is the smoked front reflectors (which is an easy swap out). Are the tailights smoked/tinted as well? Hard to tell in the one side pic. Do you have any pics of the rear?

Could you also please PM me the VIN? TIA

Sure, VIN is in the original post but I'm happy to provide it again:
VIN: WBSVA93558E216092

Yes, the tail lights are tinted which is another reason why I thought throwing in the LCI kit might be an added, nice touch in the event the buyer didn't like the look. I figured at least that option would be there for the buyer...

Here is a shot of the rear that I took this week:

I just became a beta tester for "MyCarFax" so I was able to find out some more information on service history.

Besides the recent service last month to replace spark plugs, oil, diff fluid, and software update I found that in May of last year (at 22950 miles) the following was performed by BMW NW in Tacoma:

Maintenance inspection completed
Recommended maintenance performed
Brake fluid flushed/changed
Oil and filter changed
Cabin air filter replaced
Front wiper blades/refills replaced
Air filter replaced

My E92 order has been submitted so I'd like to time this sale to coincide with the new vehicle delivery, if at all possible...

What's the estimated delivery date on the new M3? If it's 1.5-2 months (which it probably won't be), I may be able to buy it.
Thanks

I'm currently in "order documented" status and have yet to hit production. It actually may be around 1.5 - 2 months until it's here so we should definitely remain in contact if you're interested...

Well, that would leave me without a vehicle for potentially two-three months so I'd rather not, if at all possible...

Yes, although the car changed to "production begins" status this week so I'm unsure exactly how long it will be from here...will keep this thread updated...

Just got confirmation from my dealership that the ETA on the new E92 is May 2nd so I'm bumping this back up for anyone that may feel that timeline is good for them.

New mileage is just a tick over 28k...
