Opinions on potential purchase!
Hey guys,
I drove a '10 coupe today and am close to purchasing however I have some concerns. It's a clean car (1-owner) CPO fully loaded Jerez on Extended Fox red with 22k miles. The car was immaculate and the leather looked brand new. It's at a large, reputable BMW Dealer in PA too. Everything checked out pricing wise however the Sales manager brought me a box with a set of Eibach race springs and wheel spacers. He said they couldn't certify the car with those items on so they installed the factory components when completing the CPO process. I would be able to do whatever the hell I wanted with the springs and spacers lol. Also, in the service history, it showed a repair for a DCT leak (pan gasket IIRC). Everything about the car I love equipment-wise but the only thing holding me back is the concern of the transmission and my suspicion that this car was run hard based on the mods and leak. I know the car can take some abuse but for this much money I'd like the car to be worry-free. Should I be concerned about the trans even tho the car is warranted until 11/2015? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jon Edit: here's the vin in case this can help track down anything: WBSWD9C50AP362972

Go for it...if it has everything you want and a extended warranty, that sounds worried free to me!! Enjoy!

Sounds better than anything I can dream of. Dealer CPO the car and giving you the aftermarket parts. That's just wonderful. My dealer would sell whatever aftermarket parts they can on a trade in car and sell the car stock. They "steal" everything.
