will this pedal fit in the m3?
This looks sick.
http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemVi...&productId=611 anyone know if this fit the m3? It's listed in the regular 3 series accessories but not in the M3 list... seems a bit overpriced but gotta pay to look good. |

Are you going to spend $150 for THAT???? You can get this for less money, even after missing a 20% discount deadline yesterday (lifted the pic from the GB thread titled 'ultimate pedals group buy' over the 'exterior/cosmetic parts' sub-forum of the classifieds):

They have lots of options; check them out at www.ultimatepedals.com . If you want them to blend in, your best (and the cheapest) alternative would be shiny pedals with grip inserts (choices are rounded or flat); they'd match the dead petal even better than those. I chose mine shiny but anti-slip, since I don't like rubber in my pedals. Mine will look just like the pic above but shinier (the above ones are 'frosted' another extra-cost option), and for 6MT, with engraving just showing the 'M' logo, to match that of the dead pedal. My pedals won't match the dead pedal perfectly, but neither do the stock rubber ones. A sports car needs aluminum pedals IMO; those above are nice, but more in line with a 335, rather than an in-your-face M3 . Take care. |

My only worry with those ultimate pedals is there is not too much rubber on there for grip. They should be fine in the dry but in the wet, it would be awfully slippery.

I never had a problem with just the anti-slip finish myself, but I rarely drive my 'toys' in the rain (never on purpose). if in addition to anti-slip you choose the flat rubber inserts, I'd say it'd be pretty close to all-rubber pedals (and you can add them later). However, if you constantly drive in the rain, it might be a good idea to skip on those pedals indeed... or dry your feet on the mats before driving . Take care.
