Yep. Materials Science degree from the little school next to the Med Center with all the trees, and then one more year working in North Houston. People look at me funny when I say how much I miss the food.

The shifter is pretty high up on that car. I hope you've also been working out your delts on your right side only.

Very cool. I guess you noticed my license plate in some of the pics. I was at Brown College; which college are you from? The plethora and variety of great restaurants around Houston is astounding.

Although you'd lose some of the traction you have today, the second video in the following post warrants serious consideration of adding a supercharger

You're kidding! What year? I graduated in '95 and was at Brown as well. Now I'm trying to remember the Toms I knew.

It is absolutely no joke. It is receiving serious consideration. I just really don't want to upset the balance of the car.

Very small world. Unfortunately, after your time though. Graduated in '01.

Update with Rolling Shots

While I was taking pictures of my M3 in downtown Houston last weekend, I had the pleasure of running into a group of photographers. A couple of them offered to take rolling shots of my car, and of course, I accepted. I love the way they came out. Here's a few of the better ones, courtesy of and major props to Jeremiah of distortography and Dan McCarty (Jeremiah took the shots from Dan's Mazdaspeed 3 using Dan's camera).

For some reason, I can't see any of the rolling shots, TLud.

Sorry guys. Yeah, for now, click on Dan McCarty's flickr page. I'll try to fix it, but I'm not sure what to do because they show up fine on my computer.

Tlud,

Amazing end result as a result of ur vision for your car...your car looks amazing and best of luck with it :-)

quick question--how do u like ur vreds? How many miles have u put on them and if u could do it all over again, would u get them again? Do you find the vreds to be harsher than the ps2s or ur original oem tires?

Best of luck

Thanks. I've put about 1,500 miles on the Vreds and I love 'em. Knowing what I know now, I would definitely do it all over again. It's difficult to make a direct comparison against the PS2s because the Vreds are a different size. My OEM PS2s were 245/35/19 in front and 265/35/19 in rear, while the Vreds are 255/35/19 in front and 275/35/19 in rear. The step up in size offers a slightly larger contact patch as well as slightly taller sidewalls, which will naturally add more cushion. In this size, the ride is more comfortable than the OEM PS2s.

I'm very happy with dry grip, wet grip, behavior at the limit, turn-in, and comfort. They're a little noiser than the PS2s, but it's not a big deal.
