SOLD: Apex Arc Wheel/ Yoko AD08 tire setup-track or street
SOLD Lightly used track wheel tire setup. Used at three track day driving events. More than half the tread is left. No off track events or impacts to rims. TPMS installed and included. I am getting a spec boxster so I no longer will track my M3. No rubbing or clearance issues noted. Very heat resistant tires with no greasy feeling when hot. Ran right up to the back of Porsche GT3's with this set up. Can be used as street setup. Purchased August 2010, there is a factory warranty that covers them for two years: Warranty Summary: 2 year Structural warranty. 1 year limited warranty guarantees wheels will be free from defects in materials, workmanship and paint finish under normal and reasonable use. I measured the tire tread depth. Near the shoulder they are all at least 4/32 with the front left slightly shy and the other 3 slightly over. In the middle of the tread they are all at least 6/32. According to the data on Tire Rack they started at 10/32 so there is a little more than half the tread left. Wheels: Apex: Matt Black powder coated: Front: Diameter: 18" Width: 9.5" Offset: 22mm Lug Pattern: 5x120mm Centerbore: 72.6mm Weight: 19.10lbs Rear: Diameter: 18" Width: 10" Offset: 25mm Lug Pattern: 5x120mm Centerbore: 72.6mm Weight: 19.95lbs http://www.apexraceparts.com/ARC-8-1...set_p_133.html Tires: ADVAN Neova AD08 Yokohama's: 265/35R18 and 285/30R18 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....VAN+Neova+AD08 TPMS: Behr through tire rack SOLD SOLD SOLD Last edited by saildoc; 05-13-2011 at 11:50 AM.. can a spacer be used to make these clear 380 brembo BBK? or is it the diameter that caused problems with the brembos, afaik- these clear the stoptech 380s, correct?

They clear Stoptech BBK. They do not clear the 380 Brembo BBK because it is used for nothing. It is all marketing. Switch to a smaller rotor.

I'm very interested and I'm at the PCA event at Hallett this weekend. Any chance you're planning to be here ? I have 380mm front brembo's but at this price worth changing to smaller front rotors.
Let me know. Quote:

Added a few more pics this am
BTW: these were purchased new in August 2010. I also notice I am missing one APEX cap. They are $10. Will adjust price accordingly. http://www.apexraceparts.com/APEX-Wh...arge_p_62.html |

Anyone have this setup or similar sizing and lowered on H&R or the like?
Any rubbing up front to be concerned about?

no rubbing
I have the stock ride height, no problems with rubbing and I have hit the bump stops a few times. I think if you have the stock bump stops the travel geometry is the same, they clear the struts and shocks without issue so I think it should be the same for your case. You might want to check with apex racing on that one.

trades and splitting
At this point these track wheels are coming off the car, the OEM 19's are going back on and I am going to drive the car on the street again. I really don't need any other tires or wheels as I will be selling the M3 this summer. It would be better to leave the combo assembled as a package-bolt on and go for whomever ends up with them. The M3 is a heavy car and as you can see from the pics they held up really well at the hot track. They will be a very fast and reliable track tire for the next owner. I appreciate all the interest.

Damn very tempting.
Do you have better side profile pics with the front wheels straight? What's your zip? Do you know the weight with the tires so I can get a shipping quote? Or if you can get one to 91106? Thanks.

Tread depth measured
I measured the tire tread depth. Near the shoulder they are all at least 4/32 with the front left slightly shy and the other 3 slightly over. In the middle of the tread they are all at least 6/32. According to the data on Tire Rack they started at 10/32 so there is a little more than half the tread left.
