A/C Disengage on acceleration
Hey guys quick question. does the A/C pump disengage when accelerating at certain rate or at max rate? Also the alternator disengages at all acceleration points?
So basically no downside to running A/C from a parasitic loss standpoint (obviously still overheats on a track) but just on the roads. I always used to drive with a/c off as I felt it suck the power out of my engine so this would be good to know. Wish it had an electric water pump-that would have been nice |

It has variably controlled compressor and in effect is "disengaged" when needed, so no need to turn it off. The compressor only operates when needed. Mine is always on, even on the track.
