Thinking of painting wheels porsche platinum satin?

The other reason I got them painted was if I curbed one or scrapped one etc, I figure it would be less expensive to get them refinished. Also there is 1 powdercoat guy here in town and his wait time was 1 week, the guy who did these did them in 2 days.

I would think so although the guy I bought them from used had painted them Ferrari yellow and had black wheels and I thought they looked amazing. I just didn't think yellow would look good on white. The brakes also pop a lot more now that my wheels are darker. With glossy silver they kind of blended in.

Looks great... do you have the color code? I've tried everything to get it... called Porsche, their dealers, the paint shops they use... no one seems to know it, or it's too new to be in a system.

How well does the paint job hold up on the wheels? I'd just hate to paint a set and get all paranoid at every rock and pebble on the road.
