E90 M3 Owners - Where does this seat belt go?
I believe this belt is for the center seat but it has to be detached if the rear arm rest/cup holder is in use. Where does this get stored when not in use? Does it just hang there?
The housing in the back doesn't seem to fit it either. Anyone?

I fail. I never investigated hard enough and just let it dangle.

My E90 has a third receptacle at the junction of the seat back and bench just it does for the other two seat belts. I leave the end buckled so that it is not just swinging around...

That's right, folks. 400+ horsepower, sports suspension, a manual transmission option, four doors, and five (count 'em!) seatbelts.
A family man's dream come true!

That middle belt dangling and chattering away in the back would drive me insane. Clip it or ticket. |

We added a third since that picture was taken. And we can all fit (in a pinch). Car seats are a b!#ch...

Cool … but if you unbuckle this middle belt and secure it on the rear deck what do you do with the little buckle that now sits a third of the way into the left rear seat?
The main buckle on the other side tucks nicely into a notch below the armrest but this little buckle (the one that you need to use your house key to unlatch) just sits in no-man's-land!?!?!? Last edited by scrammer; 04-03-2014 at 11:36 PM.. |
