The tinted windshield is hardly noticeable from a darkness standpoint. During the daytime it is hardly noticeable. The only reason it is hard to see into the car is due to the darkness of all the other windows. The windshield at night is just as easy to see out as if it was not tinted at all. At 50% it is not dark at all, but the film does block out a significant amount of heat. I would estimate that the car is around 20 degrees cooler with this windshield tint. I am not sure about other states, but I know it is illegal in AZ to have a windshield tinted. You can be issued a non-moving violation citation for having a tinted windshield in AZ, but there are no points associated with it. You can have it removed, pay the fine, or go to court. Yeah same here, it's illegal to have a tinted windshield or tinted front windows, although mine have been tinted for about two years and I just got a ticket a couple weeks ago, but I was pulled over for speeding...only $67 for the tint and no points, so no big deal. Thanks for the reply, I might look into getting it done, looks good.

Honestly don't like the tint. To me window tinting dates your car. Very 1990. Other than the tint I love your car!

Appreciate your comments, even about the tint. I am not sure where you live, but it is already 110 degrees this week in Phoenix and the tint is a must. The darker the better on your eyes. Works well even if you do not have sunglasses.
