The fitment on the Eisenmann is perfect. When you drive the car it will pop out a bit more. Cause of the exhaust heating up.

Were the Eisenmann connecting pipes used? The top of my tips stick out about 1/2".

When deciding on an exhaust, I asked the same Qs about the (EM) Race as I really liked the adjustable tips of the AA. Anyway, my understanding is that the Eisenmann IS adjustable (aprox. 1/2-3/4") on the connecting pipe side where it attached to the muffler.

If the shop you used welded it, you're SOL unless they cut again and adjust.

I'm hoping mine arrives within the next week or so

no all they did was cut the stock muffler off before the weld on the stock pipes and connected the race mufflers...how are you suppose to adjust the exhaust? the shop guys told me and showed me that the hangers on the left and right side of the exhaust werent movable?

I got your pm.

We have sold over 200 systems and have never had any problems with the E92/93 tip fitment. I see that you are located in WI. If you are willing to drive down to IL we will adjust the system free of charge.

By pulling it in or out of the cut exhaust pipes after loosening the clamps... provided your shop didn't weld them. The other (worse) problem is if your shop cut the exhaust pipes too short, making it impossible to pull your new muffler to where you want the tips to be (without falling off the pipes). They could always weld an inch or so of extra piping, but even though not visible from the rear, would look like crap. That's why it's critical to hire a shop that knows what they're doing when hacking your stock exhaust. Good luck man, and keep us posted.

Agreed, kinda what I said above Unfortunately, that sounds exactly like what the OP's shop did.

Why get an exhaust where you have to cut your stock in the first place... the newer versions are bolt on right?

You have to buy additional connecting pipes.
