gtr owner here...if it doesn't run right already, stay far, far away. speaking from experience. car is very expensive to maintain and can easily drain your pocketbook.

i can assure you that isn't the case whatsoever. my gtr has never vibrated from the tranny. there is a normal 'rattle' noise when car shifts at low speeds, but no such vibration. my tranny has been fine, but the rest of the car has fallen apart.

my gtr has been in the shop for the past month. i'm supposed to get it back on thursday and it's running like a top again apparently. there was a lot of stuff to fix, but it's doing well now.

Wait for the 2013 GTR. It's getting another power bump. Think it's gonna be at 570HP now. Price is probably going to be $100k+ though.

or you can buy a low miles 2009 gtr and get a $500 tune and have the same power for much less. all these 2012/2013 updates are relatively minor. the power is coming from engine tuning.

i agree with everyone about the maintenance from firsthand experience. 'if you have to ask, you can't afford it' definitely applies to the gtr.
