Same here, just reading the "Manifesto" that Alex sent out. Yeah, looks like a lot of cars; doesn't look like as much track time as we'd want, but it'll be good to get certified.

See you there!

Wow great driving! I was just at Mid Ohio 2 weeks ago, those E90 M3's really blow past you. Fastest I put down was a 1:57ish, second time I've been out to a track.

Are you really braking that late into the Keyhole and Carousel? When I rode with the instructor it looked like all the braking was done before turn in, but maybe I should have been looking at the pedals instead of out the window!

Also what software are you using to overlay the gopro footage? I have some cell phone gps data and separate gopro footage, but haven't really found any way to combine the two.

This is the fastest time I've ever seen for any amateur driven e92 at mid ohio with the chicane. There are a lot of modified ones running 1:45+.

Nice driving.

Yes you can brake pretty late into keyhole and carousel, you will have trail brake into the turn though, so just be careful. Software i use is dashware, it works great.

klammer do you have a time for Mid-Ohio? Your M3 is pretty well modified, would be interested to see what you pull there. It is hard finding times to compare to, I've only found a few other posted ones in the e9x lap time thread.

Jon i went out with another stock 2012 competition e92, he was an instructor and got down to a 1:48 and some change. It seems like M dynamic will zap about 2 seconds off your time, i played with it a bit and i dont like it. Ill be there Jun 7-8 with nasa with my e46 to see what it will do.

Unfortunately I have not been to Mid-Ohio yet, but was planning on hitting it this year. I've been to most of the other tracks in the Midwest (and a few on the east coast) but never mid-Ohio and I have no logical reason why, hence it being on my hit list this year. Do you guys have any other times for local, Midwest, tracks? It really does look like an awesome track and can't wait to hit it this year, but with a 2 month old in addition to my 2 girls, this is going to be a slow season for me. Great videos and driving, and hope to see you guys out there...

Wow! sub-2:00 is insane! Good job Luke. No shortage of power that's for sure!

Loved the new asphalt. I got my virtual best on Harry's down to 2:08.79 but difficult to get totally clean laps because of traffic, always at least one car to get by or let by.

It was a fun weekend, really good to see you there.

1:48 seems slow, especially for an instructor. I saw a vid on *********** (edit: another site with "boost" in the name) where a X1 ran a 1:48. I think the OP is an alien but I think mortals can probably run 1:45-1:46 well driven. That's why I was asking about Klammer as I know he tracks a lot, so would be interesting to see how many seconds the modifications shave off. If you can get down to 1:42 you would be running with many of the faster 997 GT3's in the groups I've run with, which is damn impressive for a 4 door sedan/luxury coupe.

Bill do you have a youtube channel or any videos up? I think the premium times for laps was sunday morning with the cooler temps, but there was way to much traffic. We got lucky the last session sunday as there was only a few cars out, harrys showed me at a 1:56 virtual for the weekend, but by the end of the day my slicks had well over 20 heat cycles. I pushed pretty hard on those last laps but thats all i had, grip out of turn 1 was not very good.

I think a 1:42:xx is possible on streets with no traffic and it would have to be done in the first few laps as the tires would be over worked pretty quick.

Yeah, I'm Sleeper519 on Youtube as well. There's some older ones, haven't had time to process or overlay recent vids yet, work is kicking my butt this week.

2008 Viper, full interior, slicks, mcs suspension, acr wheels, acr aero, 2 piece acr/stoptech rotors, mopar controller so it dont throw codes, exhaust, and i think at this point empty high flow cats.

I was wondering how you got to 130+ by the time you went under the bridge. Very nice driving.
