If you're not used to it, it's a "fun" surprise on the first lap out.

Thanks for posting TripleM.
Never been to Fontana but this seems like a great time to check it out and learn the course from some fantastic instructors. I just signed up but the BMW CCA program defaults me to sign up using my previously registered car (M3) but I might want to bring a different car. My M3 needs new (aftermarket) rotors and I just ordered them but don't know if they will show up in time. Can I just show up with a different car? Thanks and look forward to seeing you guys out there.

As long as the car passes tech. We don't allow non-BMW SUVs (except Porsche Cayennes) and convertibles require aftermarket roll protection.

Ok terrific it's a 911 so all should be good.

I'll be able to sign up in the next week or so. already told work I'll be out this day to track (lol) but may have to miss another day instead for something a bit more important.
if i can make it i dont mind being placed in whatever group so long as I'm not being held back by the rest of the group (thats my only issue i would really have). my instructor for the last two events was the gentleman with a turbo e30 m3 (i believe, ed is it?) |

The chief instructors and tent leaders do the instructor assignments, but I can bend a few ears...No guarantees.

Inspection done on my M3. It revealed a problem with the coolant temp sensor and thermostat. But at least they are fixed now. Yay! More maintenance.
I've been watching videos online to get ready for this event. Haven't driven this track before. |

Thanks for the advice R. Sounds like I'm going to stay away from the NT05. I'd hate to experience girp issue at T2 in Fontana at 150mph I think I'll stick with R-S3 275 up front (only had 265 until now), and give the AD08R a try next.
