Have been looking at these videos very closely and especially noting if the 335i from which both videos has infact got the same time between gearchanges as this shows consistent acceleration.

In both it's the same so the 335i is definately running consistently.

An extra 300rpm and genuine 15-20 hp can make a huge difference in the real world. That additional 300rpm allows higher power to be made at the gear changing points. The difference is really noticed where the most gearchanges are made.

More tests like this need to be conducted but now stock M3 vs tuned M3.

Like I posted in the other current thread..... watch this space!

Puts down around 350-380 rwhp depending on wich dyno is used and around 550-600 NM

A friend if mine dynoed his 335ia with similar setup(same software) and got 38X hp on the wheels, But not sure about the torque.

Has Evolve released any stage3 software for 335?? After this season I'm switching my PROcede for a flash.

Next event is in 3 weeks

ETA: Just had confirmation both are indeed manual cars.
Really? Maybe I'm not totally familiar with the 335 interior but this looks like the car has a steering wheel equipped with paddles, hence an auto. Maybe someone else can chime in?

Yep, we have a stage 3 for the 335i, here's a dyno using our own intercooler and catless DP (it's supposed to say Stage 3 not 2):

Evolve, is there any way of deleting the records showing that the vehicle revved past the OE redline in the unfortunate case of an engine failure?

It baffles me how people start in 2nd at 50km in an e92. You should really be in first. That goes for both the 6mt and the dct. I've owned both. (Note that first is slightly taller in the 6mt)

2nd at 50km/hr is not a good spot in the power band. For the 335, and many other cars, 2nd gear at 50km/hr is nearly ideal. Most motors taper on the top end MUCH more than the s65.

The power band is such that the lowest possible gear is the fastest in 98% of situations.

My point is that it's generally not a fair race when an e92 races most any other car from 50km/hr with both cars in second gear.

Awesome results Paul! Sal is an awesome tuner as well as a gentleman. Thanks for your service and tune, my car runs gorgeously smooth on the tune Sal did for me on the dyno.
