RAL5015 on stock BMW M219 9.5x18 ... sweeeeet!!!! ;-)

Just wanted to share some quick pictures I took today while mounting
my "new" wheels.
Color is RAL5015 matt powdercoated.

As all other nice and light wheels don't have a TUEV certificate (Volk, APEX, ...) it's absolutely not possible to drive them here in Germany on the streets (you get more than big tickets if you're wheels are not registered in your car papers) so I decided to take the easy route.

Running 9.5x18 ET27 front and rear with 10mm spacers front and 15mm at the rear with a Michelin Pilot Cup 265/35-18 all around.

Initally I was not sure about the color ... but hell yeah!

It's awesome!

Hope you like it, too.

Stickers need to go IMO. Mirrors should match the wheels also (again IMO).

Completely agreed. Get on board with the GT3 RS look. Too much going on here IMO.

Too many stickers also IMO. If you're getting paid by all those companies then right on!!! If not... then why the hell are you giving away free advertising? I don't even keep the dealer license plate frame on my car. If they want to give me a discount on the car... then sure. Otherwise...

Other than that (and it's subjective I understand), I think the car actually looks good. I like the bold choice of wheel color. If the mirrors matched it would be great.

Lose the stickers on the rear window, I think the ones on the mirrors look fine, very unique! I actually really like the look of these wheels on the car. Good choice and way to be different.

Sorry for thread bump, but how come you have style 260Ms up front but 219Ms in the rear? Don't get me wrong, car looks awesome, just wondering

Probably because he has a square setup, and bought a set of 219m without knowing his rears were 260m?

running 9.5" wide all around.
had one set on the car when I bought it and the second one is a steal from ebay.

but the difference is that small that most people don't even see it.

my setup is really more than "cheap". powdercoating including sandblasting the 4 9.5" wheels was under 300 euros.
And you can get the M260 oder M219 wheels on ebay for really really small money. People don't really like it.
Good for me

the good thing. now I have 4x 8.5" wide wheels with normal 245/40 PS2's left in my garage. perfect wheels for doing it sideways

small update regarding the mirror caps.
I used Plasti-Dip rubber spray.
Color doesn't 100% match the RAL5015 wheels. Will correct that in the near future.

And no - the duct tape around the license plate and right headlight won't stay there forever. Had a small bump in city traffic so needed to fix it fast for the weekend on the track
