Lime Rock M3 in Dirty Jersey - Build and Adventures (LOTS OF Pics)
Purchased a low mileage (4900 Miles) Lime Rock Park Edition M3 which I hope to hold on to...
I held onto most of my major mods from my previous build: HRE Wheels S101 currently being refinished by HRE Wheels Brembo BBK 365/345 currently being refinished by IND-distribution RD Sport front bumper ESS Vt2-625 Still unsure about supercharging the Lime Rock due to the fact that it is a limited production car. What are your thoughts?? (Sold the kit) Looking forward to updating the thread. Can't wait to install the mods on my new car. Here is a pic of my E90 M3 in all its glory:

I love the Lime Rock sir! That was my first choice when i was shopping for my M3 last year, but just couldn't find the right one before I found my LMB. I say a massive congratulations to you, and enjoy.
As for the engine mods, I don't think it would ruin the car to have the supercharger as that can always be taken off if one day it becomes a collectors item. But to hell with future value, do it in a way that you'll get to most enjoy it. If you've got a supercharger setup, I say put it on there and enjoy the results

Go ahead with the supercharger if that's what you want. The interior seats have already been changed, so it's no where near original, and not going to be a collector.

The seats have not been changed the Orange is just some type of custom cover that came with the car. I think it looks ok which is why I haven't removed them. I'll posting some photos or a video of the interior at some point.

Beautiful car, congrats. If you're worried about resale sure a supercharger might diminish the value. People are going to be looking for unmolested examples and the fact that the car has or had a supercharger might turn off potential buyers. I think it would be explainable maybe with a blackstone or something but people are always looking for no stories cars. Just food for thought. But don't let that impair your enjoyment of the car. Mod it how you want and worry about that later. Don't worry about preserving it for someone else.
I track mine. It's just a car. I know that might turn off potential future buyers but I'm not going to not enjoy the car because of it. |

Thanks bud, i was definitely happy to find her and have not been disappointed. If the lime rock were mine, I'd do the S101's in satin black (lip included) and the calipers in fire orange or gold. Stoked to see the results.

Thanks for all your input fellas. I guess the supercharger is a must
My first mod is changing out the X-pipe. I went with a RACE X Pipe made by Topspeed. This seems to be the only cat-less none resonator pipe still in the market made with T304 Stainless Steel with good reviews. Installation was a breeze. Here is a before and after video:
