OEM Exhaust Mod in Atlanta?

I live in the Atlanta area and am looking for a shop recommendation for the OEM Exhaust mod. I also just ordered some Eibach lowering springs and VMS wheels that need to be installed as well.

Anyone have suggestions?

I have always gone to Butler Tire in Alpharetta for lowering springs and wheels. They do a great job. I'm not sure about the OEM exhaust mod though.

Def Butler tire for wheels and springs. Go to the one in john's creek and ask for geordie (bmw guy). Exhaust mod might be out of their scope. But any decent exhaust shop should be able to do the exhaust mod.

I was in your shoes this time last year. I called Buckhead Imports and another BMW place in Roswell that was recommended and did not get a call back. At that same time one came up on the forum that I bought for $300ish.

My suggestion would be to just go to a decent muffler shop and show them what you want. Plenty of DYI's here for them to view. It's not that hard to do and is probably 300-400 bucks.

Or just look for a used one. Somebody on this forum could chime in on what shipping an OEM exhaust costs but at the end of the day a used one shipped is probably about the same price as having your exhaust chopped up.

It's money very well spent though as is how it should have come from the factory.

buy spare exhaust from form member, find a local muffler shop, take your exhaust and the youtube video of the mod....switch out...and your done

make sure you paint the canister flat black before it goes back on the car...imo, looks much better.

shipping costs about $100 based on weight....but most forum members are too lazy to box the exhaust because it's large and cumbersome....
