OEM mod + Catless
Does anyone have a video of the oem exhaust mod with either no cats at all (x pipe etc) or with primary cats removed (test pipes)

I have a couple videos of my car with TTp and oem mod, I will dig them up when I get to a computer. But like previously stated, raspy as hell. Had to change muffler

From what I have heard at meets with cars that have done the same thing, it sounds way too raspy and does not have that MV8 character. You are better off just keeping the oem muffler stock and going catless, not the other way around--unless you go aftermarket with everything else, of course.

Yeah when I rewatched my video it sounds good but in person it drove me nuts! Went TTP with Megan muffler. Quieter but I like it that way

the raspiness and loudness refers the ACM mod and not the perforated pipe mod correct? I have the perf mod and want to go catless soon too but dont want it to sound like crap.

I have it and it sounds like shit. Don't do it. Can't wait for my new set up. Currently running TTP and custom xpipe with OEM Ver 1 mod.

I did it and it sounded classless. It was an utter embarrassment and stopped driving it until I got another exhaust. Inside the cabin it sounded gutless like ultimate fart can. This link doesn't do just for how bad it sounded. It actually sounds good on YouTube so that is why it is hard to tell. You headphones and turn it up loud to get a good sense. http://youtu.be/JjvzmmsLLSg |

+1..I have done OEM mod.. removal of each sides single perforated pipe (left the small wrapped perf pipe as is) left all cats in place and it sounds perfect..loud when you when want it to be... stock sounding when you dont..very nice mod

Agree with others that it will prib sound bad. I have the OEM mod with secondary cats removed and it's pretty raspy (but I don't mind it). I would imagine primary cats would be much more loud and raspy.
