Huper Optik or F1 Pinnacle?
I can get Huper Optik 30% for $375 installed or F1 Pinnacle at 35% for $450 installed. My car has navi and comfort access. I know the F1 doesn't interfere, but I'm not sure about the Huper. Also, I heard the Huper can be bluish in bright sunlight, which is no good since my car is going for the black/white theme. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Huper does not give you a blue hue, but it's not as dark looking as the equivalent F1 film. If you are going for a black / white look, you should consider the F1 film. Also, you can ask the shop for samples of each tint and apply them to your car and see which one you like better.

The F1 tint curves better on the rear windshield than the Huper tint. Regardless, tape the dot matrix up with black vinyl before tinting it.

Do you guys know if the Huper interferes with CA or Navi? Is F1 worth $75 over the Huper?

F1 Pinnacle on mine.. Still looking great. Darker tho I agree for the same 30% compared to what I have on my X5 (non Pinnacle). Got black vinyl on the dot matrix part...install was aware and avoided that pitfall.
Also my comfort access works great and no problems with my Sat Radio reception that I can tell. good luck

Huper worked well on my E55 with KeylessGo, so it should be fine with CA. Both films are nice so you really can't go wrong with either film

DO NOT get HUPER. I have it on my e90 M3. It DOES interfere with CA on my car. My CA started having problems immediately after the tint was installed. It's not totally broken but does aggravate me sometimes.

Thank you, I'll be going with F1. I think it's worth the $75 for the peace of mind that it works.

I think I paid about 275 for mine with 35% F1 pinnacle all around, except the windshield. Also paid an additional 25 for the vinyl, so 300 total.
That's HI prices, which is always inflated.

I've had both, and you really can't go wrong with either. It's been a few years since I've had the Huper, but if memory serves me right, I think the F1 is a little more transluscent and cleaner looking IMO. Maybe it's cuz the Huper is a thicker film??? You're local, so you can get the F1 at Tint Plus for $400. I believe they're running a special right now.
